
Looking for a new start for the new year? Ballyhoura Community Radio (BCR 92.6fm) based in Charleville, North Co. Cork are seeking a Sales and Marketing officer with the deadline for applications being 5pm on Sunday January 15th.
Details on the Sales & Marketing Officer
- Part time position available with BCR 92.6fm
- Basic PLUS bonus for targets reached
- Immediate start Jan 2012
Main Function: To increase overall development of BCR by increasing total revenues acquired by the station
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Develop marketing/sales strategies for the station
- Delivering on sales, advertising, sponsorship and fundraising targets (ensuring at all times that BCR remain compliant with statutory requirements)
- Promoting BCR in the business and commercial sectors of the franchise area
- Support to fundraising initiatives
- Support to programming initiatives
- Provide marketing ideas to grow station business
- Plan collection of listener statistics and evaluation
Skills/Experience required includes:
- Proven track record in the area of sales/marketing
- Excellent client service, presentation & communication skills
- Own transport with full driving licence essential
- Computer literate
