Looking for a new start for the new year? Ballyhoura Community Radio (BCR 92.6fm) based in Charleville, North Co. Cork are seeking a Sales and Marketing officer with the deadline for applications being 5pm on Sunday January 15th.

Details on the Sales & Marketing Officer 

• Part time position available with BCR 92.6fm
• Basic PLUS bonus for targets reached
• Immediate start Jan 2012

Main Function: To increase overall development of BCR by increasing total revenues acquired by the station

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Develop marketing/sales strategies for the station
• Delivering on sales, advertising, sponsorship and fundraising targets (ensuring at all times that BCR remain compliant with statutory requirements)
• Promoting BCR in the business and commercial sectors of the franchise area
• Support to fundraising initiatives
• Support to programming initiatives
• Provide marketing ideas to grow station business
• Plan collection of listener statistics and evaluation

Skills/Experience required includes:

• Proven track record in the area of sales/marketing
• Excellent client service, presentation & communication skills
• Own transport with full driving licence essential
• Computer literate
