Craol submits applications to Sound and Vision

Craol has submitted two applications on behalf of member stations for similar collaborative-style programme ventures.

The proposed programme format is based on the experience gained from producing two previous collaborative programmes, Trasna na dTonnta and Ní Neart go cur le Chéile (in post production). It is envisaged that, should the programmes be funded, these projects would see a majorty of community radio station working together and working in station-based teams to create segments for the programmes. These segments would then be compiled, by a different station for each programme, who would act as an anchor for that particular programme, providing links from segement to segment and producing the final programme.

Sound and Vision Round 10 closed on Friday 30th of July at 12pm, decisions on this round are expected in October.
