ABOUT Raidio Corca Baiscinn

Raidió Corca Baiscinn is a not-for-profit community radio station that was granted a full broadcasting license by the BCI originally in late 1999, and commenced broadcasting in January 2000. The station’s studios are upstairs in the Community Centre in Kilkee.

Raidió Corca Baiscinn aims to inform, educate, entertain and inspire the people of South West Clare. By utilising community development principles, the station supports individuals and groups to fulfil their full potential. The station promotes and celebrates the culture, heritage and diversity of South West Clare.

The station broadcasts for seven hours every weekday, and three hours on Saturdays and Sundays, covering a broad range of topics of specific community and local interest, and provides training to a wide number of people.
