ABOUT 92.5 Phoenix FM

21 years ago in August 1988, residents of Dublin 15 turned on their radios to hear the area’s first ever local radio station. Phoenix FM, with a team of over 150 volunteers, broadcast from a premises next door to Ryan’s Garage on Main Street, Blanchardstown.
Following many subsequent years of organisation and negotiation, the station was awarded a licence by the then IRTC (BCI, and now BAI) and in January 2000 it again took to the airwaves from new studios in the Blanchardstown Centre from where it still operates.
Phoenix FM broadcasts on 92.5FM every evening and on Saturday afternoon also.
